For lasting change, emotional pain usually needs to be felt, however we might describe and experience it: emptiness, anxiety or depression, low self-esteem or stuckness, numbness or withdrawal from life.  Most of us cannot go through this process without being companioned through it.

Good therapy can provide a container. A consistent, non-judgmental and empathetic presence to help us better understand the essence of who we are, so we can experience greater freedom and flexibility in our lives.
